One of our most recent projects involved the building of a wine store cabinet and wardrobes for a client in Dublin. This latest project was a collaboration with Maria MacVeigh Design, who is renowned for her exquisite approach to design aesthetics.
The Furniture
Wine Store
To build the wine store we used Fumed Oak and Walnut. The cabinet feature double glazed full height doors with pull out shelves and enclosures to display and store a collection of wine. Internal LED lighting highlights specific shelves to create ambient lighting.
Temperature and humidity within the cabinet is controlled by an air conditioning unit.

Wardrobes
We started by making the wardrobes using solid and veneered European Rift cut oak.
The first wardrobe has three internal drawers and a hanging rail. The second wardrobe features hinged doors on a front brake line. And that’s because of the cabinet’s proximity to the bed where a side table would stop a full width door from opening all the way.
Both wardrobes were finished with a waterborne lacquer and the grain on the exterior panels has been brushed to create a textured surface.
